Gold Plating

A thin deposit of 24 carat gold is carried out on an earlier layer of nickel. Subsequently, a layer of protective transparent varnish, which is then dried in the oven, can be applied to improve the resistance to oxidation and to abrasion of the deposit.

A brilliant gloss aspect is achieved with an intense yellow tonality which confers luminosity and preciousness to the item. It can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid the use of solvents or other chemical products.

This treatment finds a large use in the sector of chandeliers, but also has some applications in the taps and fittings field, and in furnishings in general.
